COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Logan Stieber, a redshirt freshman on the No. 8 Ohio State wrestling team, was named Big Ten Co-Wrestler of the Week the conference announced Tuesday. It is Stieber's third-career weekly honor. Stieber shares the award with Penn State's Ed Ruth.

A native of Monroeville, Ohio, Stieber pinned No. 8 Cashé Quiroga of Purdue in 1:12 to record his team-leading 10th pin of the season en route to the Buckeyes' 27-10 win in St. John Arena Jan. 12. With an 18-1 overall record, including a 3-1 conference ledger, Stieber has scored bonus points in 15 of his matches. Stieber, ranked fourth in the country at 133 pounds, also boasts a 9-1 dual record.

Stieber and the No. 8 Buckeyes (8-2; 2-2 Big Ten) will host No. 2 Iowa (9-1; 4-0 Big Ten) at 7 p.m. Friday in St. John Arena. The match will air live on BTN.com and Buckeye fans are encouraged to wear white to White Out the Hawkeyes. Tickets are $8 adults, $5 for youth and children 6 and under are admitted for free.
